How to configure Zoiper 5 on Android with your HexaVoice SIP account in under 5 minutes.
Zoiper 5 Android Setup
Step 1: Install Zoiper
Download Zoiper 5 from Google Play Store. Open the app.
Step 2: Create an Account
Tap Create an Account then choose SIP.
Step 3: Enter Credentials

Step 4: Advanced Settings (Optional)
Tap Advanced and set:
- STUN Server: stun.l.google.com:19302
- Outbound Proxy: sip.hexavoice.net
Step 5: Enable Push Notifications
Go to Settings > Accounts > Your Account > Push Notifications and enable. This ensures you receive calls even when the app is in the background.
Step 6: Test
The status should show Registered. Make a test call to verify audio both ways.
Common Issues
401 Unauthorized: Copy password directly from HexaVoice dashboard (avoid typing manually).
No ring on incoming calls: Disable battery optimization for Zoiper in Android settings.
